Wright's prescription for quality improvements are simply stated: Get and keep the best people; make very clear to them what must be done; and define the job in terms of good performance and results. All this, Wright says, will motivate workers and create conditions for success. The title of his book refers to his philosophy that achieving a little bit at a time is much better than achieving nothing at all. Practical examples are given to show how these ideas can be applied in almost all environments. This is a more practical text than Philip Crosby's Let's Talk Quality (LJ 4/1/89) and Quality Without Tears (LJ 4/1/81). Recommended for all business collections.
