Elizabeth Zelvin is a poet, novelist, award-nominated author of short stories, and singer-songwriter as well as a psychotherapist who currently works with clients around the world online. I Am the Daughter (1981) was her first book of poetry, followed by Gifts & Secrets: Poems of the Therapeutic Relationship (1999). Her mystery novels feature recovering alcoholic Bruce Kohler, starting with Death Will Get You Sober; the most recent is Death Will Save Your Life. She is a three-time Agatha Award nominee and a Derringer Award nominee for Best Short Story. Liz released a CD of original songs, Outrageous Older Woman, in 2012.
