Enid Balint has been a training analyst of the British Psycho-Analytical Society since the 1960s. She founded the Institute of Marital Studies at the Tavistock Clinic in London, and with her husband, Michael Balint, developed the training method for doctors known as the "Balint group." Enid Balint is a training analyst of the British Psycho-analytical society and a member of the international pscyo-analytical association. She founded the institute of marital studies in London. She is internationally known for her work on the doctor-patient relationship and is an honorary fellow of the royal college of general practitioners. She has published many articles and books about psychoanalysis, marital therapy, and the psychological aspects of general medical practice.
