About the Author
Nicknamed Vermin by his high school biology teacher, John Sherman has spent twenty-odd years at the forefront of bouldering. In addition to his "Verm's World" column, he is the author of Stone Crusade, Better Bouldering, and A Boulderer's Guide, among others. He lives with his dog, Thimble, in Estes Park, Colorado.
