International Grandmaster Andy Soltis is the author of more than 90 books, including The United States Chess Championships (1997, $45) and Frank Marshall (1993, $42.50, British Chess Federation's "Book of the Year"). He is a columnist for Chess Life and the New York Post, where he works as an editor and journalist. He lives in New York City.
