The Bible. As believers we’re told to know it, treasure it, live it, share it, and guard it. But why bother with what some see as an antiquated relic? Why have people fiercely held on to it, even given their lives for its message?

LeAnne Blackmore is a Bible loving, cookie baking, ping-pong playing, yankee-gone-southern girl. Originally from Michigan, LeAnne moved to east Tennessee where she met her husband Ron at Milligan College. Married nearly three decades, with two children and a daughter-in- law (whom they adore!), the Blackmores have lived everywhere from Missouri, to Florida, to Turkey. Coming full-circle, they settled back in Tennessee, but not without a few stories to share. The story she loves to tell most, though, comes straight from the pages of Scripture. A veteran Bible teacher and conference speaker, LeAnne’s ultimate desire is for others to know God by knowing His Word.
