About the Author:
Freda Pongetti was born in Texas and presently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. A former mathematics instructor at Arizona State University, she presently is a professional artist whose richly colored paintings are featured in galleries and private collections throughout the US. Her parents gave her "Why the Chimes Rang" when she was a small child and her adaptation of this classic tale is in memory of them.
