Warwick Castle, undoubtedly one of the finest and popular medieval castles in England, can hardly fail to qualify for its share of ghosts, and indeed the Watergate Tower is known as the 'Ghost Tower'

Here, the ghost of an Elizabethan courtier, Sir Fulke Greville, is said to haunt his old apartments, although in fact he was murdered in London by a Manservant allegedly angry at no being included in his master's Will. Renaissance poet and writer, Sir Fulke lived to the ripe old age of 74 before his untimely demise.

The Clock Tower of the Castle also claims its ghost-in-residence; that of Major John Bridges, who was garrison commander at Warwick in 1643, during the Civil War.

Another ghost legend concerns on Moll Bloxham, she is said to have avenged herself by using her powers to summon a ghostly black dog which supposedly haunted the Castle precincts until it was exorcised and leapt from Caesar's Tower into the River Avon...."
