About the Author:
Carroll live in San Marcos for nearly 30 years. From when it was a city of 2800 until the population reached nearly 60,000 and he was overwhelmed and left. His business was as publisher of newspapers. For the city, the San Marcos Outlook, for a nearby community, the Lake San Marcos Outlook. And for the County, briefly Business Outlook. He also owned the second largest airport transportation service in San Diego County and continued to publish books.
