Synopsis
Few architects have had a vision of architecture as provocative as that of Claude-Nicolas Ledoux. In 1847 Daniel Rame assembled 300 plates by Ledoux in two volumes. The Rame edition is now scarce, but has been reproduced here in a one-volume format.

Published in conjunction with Columbia University's Avery Library, this is a facsimile of the famous 1847 Ramee edition of architect Ledoux's designs. Originally produced in two volumes, this edition combines all 125 plates (plus text) of Ledoux's plans for a utopian city. As originals are rare and pricey, this offers the same information at an affordable price.
