About the Author
Jim Hasenau is one of the few writers whose building and real estate books are based on many personal experiences in the construction of hundreds of homes. This includes acquisition of real estate, sales of property, handling of financing, design of homes, and actual construction.
As a young man, he served his trade apprenticeship, starting at twelve years of age in wood model and pattern making. He worked in around Detroit, Michigan as a model and pattern maker.
He later joined his father in the building of homes and apartments "from the sewer up".
