The content of Bizarre Katalogs, Volume One, is copyright Bélier Press, Inc., and used by arrangement with Bélier Press, Inc. A prolific purveyor of pinup and fetish photos, comics, movies, and, later, booklets, Irving Klaw had a successful mail-order business out of premises in Manhattan. He advertised his products in magazines of interest to men. His customers received promotional fliers in envelopes that delivered purchases. The content of these printed sheets followed a broad assortment of fetish interests, including comic serials, popular actresses, professional wrestling, bondage, high heels, spanking, corsets, catfight, transvestites and cheesecake. He collected the content of his collateral promotional materials in staple-bound, full-sized magazines titled Cartoon and Model Parade. Bizarre Katalogs, Volume One, collects two of these 1950s fetish product catalogs, as originally published by Mr. Klaw. Most pages advertise three products, with brief descriptions and four to six preview pictures. Movies and photo sets had titles like SILK STOCKING SIRENS IN HIGH HEELS SHOW GIRL CAT FIGHT!
