Greek author Angela Catramadou was born and brought up in Alexandria, Egypt. She began contributing to Greek newspapers when in her teens. Before she was 20 she was appointed Foreign Correspondent for GYNAIKA (Woman) magazine,in Athens, Greece and served in most European cities. She is fluent in five languages and has the rare distinction of having been published in both Greek and English. A cumlaude graduate from Arizona State University, she has been a public speaker, freelance writer, court interpreter and PR specialist. Lydia is her first novel.
