About the Author

In 1985, on a hiatus from work on her Masters Degree in Counseling, Terry Lynn Taylor became seriously interested in angels. She felt that the joy and lightness she experienced as a child growing up in Southern California had turned into seriousness and strain. It was then that she read the G. K. Chesterton quote, "Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly." Contemplating this, she began to acknowledge the role angels play as spiritual helpers in our everyday life, and from that moment on, everything in her life changed.

She set out to find a book on angels that would help her attract the angels into her life. Unable to find the book she was looking for, she decided to write it herself. That effort became Messengers of Light. Terry has written four more books with H J Kramer, Guardians of Hope, Answers From the Angels, Creating With the Angels, and most recently The Alchemy of Prayer. Ms. Taylor has delighted readers worldwide with her profound, yet eminently practical wisdom. She is the best-selling author of seven books, which have sold more than 800,000 copies worldwide, and have been translated into nine foreign languages. She has appeared on national television in the NBC Prime Time Special, Angels: The Mysterious Messengers, which was seen by over 35 million viewers.

Ms. Taylor publishes a quarterly newsletter about angels, and conducts classes and "playshops" to promote the advancement of angel consciousness. Introduction: This Is Your Creative Wake-up Call From the Angels

One of the most important things to remember is that the way we attract angels is by becoming the qualities that are of interest to them. When we focus on such qualities as compassion, faith, or tolerance, we attract angelic beings that are trying to help develop that in all humanity.K. Martin-Kuri

Angels act as messengers of God. They communicate with us through inspiration. When we fill our everyday lives with spiritual essence and ask the angels to join us, we create angel consciousness. Angel consciousness entails more than just focusing on the wonder of angels; its scope includes noticing the wonder of God everywhere and in everything and sharing and cocreating this wonder with the angels. Angel consciousness helps us keep heavenly qualities alive right here on earth. We not only see the beauty around us; we feel it in our soul. We dont merely hear celestial music; our beings resonate to it. Angels, as messengers of heaven, help us make life a true and meaningful experience. This in turn allows us to raise the vibration of love on planet earth. If you want to be a part of expanding the light of love on earth right now, a good and a fun way to start is by filling your consciousness with angels.

Oftentimes, when people first start to increase their angel consciousness, their whole perception of life changes. People feel very happy when they find out that they can focus on something that is solely positive in nature. When we reawaken our awareness of angels and bring angel consciousness into our everyday lives, something shifts. We notice that a force bigger than us is at play in our lives for the highest good of all. We see, sense, hear, feel, know, and enjoy positive results.

When the angels become a positive focus in our lives, we feel a deep urge to express ourselves creatively. Our creative expression doesnt necessarily entail painting a picture or doing a craft; it means that the angels inspire us to allow our innate creative energy to flow in every arena, so that our lives themselves become beautiful creations. The angels teach us that creativity is a natural way of life. We are creative every day whether we realize it or not. As my editor, Nancy Carleton, so aptly put it, Were all blessed with creative energy, and our creativity can be expressed through painting a picture, writing a book, planting a garden, preparing a wonderful dinner for family or friends, creating a loving environment for animals, nurturing a child, creating community and relationships, and countless other ways.

Our innate creativity is reawakened and intensified by the angels, because the angels are totally creative in everything they doin the ways they communicate with us, in the ways they inspire us, and in the ways they protect us. The angels are like a big flow of creative energy, and this energy always surrounds us like a gentle pressure, a comfortable wind, or a creative force waiting to come through and inspire us in special ways. Stop for a moment and imagine the loving, creative energy that the angels are always moving your way. Begin to allow it to awaken fully in your own life. Each time you allow this flow of creative energyangel energyto stream through your being, you expand this energy and you can soar to great heights.

The angelic reinforcement of personal creativity pleases me more than any other angelic influence. When I noticed how the angels were helping so many people to unleash their creativity, I felt the desire to help spur the momentum in whatever way I could. So I offer this book in the hope that it will help to inspire you to expand your own special form of creativity in cooperation with the angels. Creativity is not really something you can learn from a book; it is an awakeninga process. Just the word creativity can evoke amazing reactions in people. For those who think they are not creative, it may bring up feelings of longing. For others who have left their creativity alone for too long, yet know in their hearts that they are creative, the word may uncover feelings of jealousy and even anger. People who are actively living their creativity may resonate with joy when they hear the word. How do you react when you think of your own creativity. Your reaction may indicate whether you are truly flowing with your creative energy or whether something is blocking it. When you create with the angels and bring the angels into your everyday life, your feelings about creativity naturally expand. Without a lot of fanfare, you will wake up one day and realize that each breath you take represents a stream of creative energy. Creative energy is all around you, and so are the angels.

The angels help us express what is inside of us. They help us peel off the outside layers to reveal our youthful spirit of creative energy. The outside layers of an onion are dry and tough because they serve to protect the onion. Your outside layers may be dry and tough because they serve to protect your sacred creativity, which is vulnerable and alive with spirit. The angels can offer you a different kind of protection so that you no longer need to hide your spirit under layers of pain and confusion.
