Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 32mo. 47 pp. Patti Smith's first book of poetry was published just prior to the release of her fist album. It was the debut of one of the true pioneers of the punk movement. The book is soft cover with some staining to the front and back covers, which ironically makes this more in keeping with the punk ethos. The front has what seem to be tea drip stains while the back has two teacup circles, giving the book that "lived in" appearance. There are no markings on the interior pages. An inscription in the inside front cover reads: "To Pamela, love Ted, Feb. 1982". For fans of her work, this is one of the "holy grails" and not to be missed. Seller Inventory # 000065
