In these poems Clinton lends out his eyesight and his insight, so that we may SEE in both meanings of the word. The first group includes subjects everyone is acquainted with, and the titles emphasize this: "Granddaughter," First Grader," "Sleepin in Church." The second group includes poems about places we may know personally or at least know about: Cascade Springs, the Tetons, the nostalgic oldtime music theatre in Jackson Hole, Palm Beach, Camino Real... The next group of poems are alike in sharing widely different aspects of one of the truly universal subjects, love.
