A misleading title, as Rosenberg's book deals not only with decorating cakes of all kinds, but also with cookies, the making of ornate candies, and working with chocolate. The techniques and steps of decorating with a pastry bag are clearly explained and accompanied by simple, precise photographs and illustrations. The book attempts to cover a lot of material and is organized in a somewhat random fashion, but the text, directions, and illustrations are very clear and explicit.
