Synopsis
Time is one of the major controlling influences of our lives. This book explores the very many different meanings that time has for us and its impact on the way we run our lives. However, perhaps the most important aspect presented in this book is how we can use our internal representations of time to empower us.
The concept of time-lines is a simple one. All of us have some spatial representation of where the past, present , and future lie in relation to our own individual view of the world. Most of us, if we close our eyes and think of a past experience, will often find it is to our left or behind us, and our future is in front of or to the right of us. This is our time-line. Others of us will have different representations of time, and there can be many variations. However, our past, present, and future memories always form a continuum.

About the Author
In the mid 1980's, Tad James and Wyatt Woodsmall discovered a completely new domain of therapy based on time-lines. The authors of Adventures With Time Lines have now taken this technology a step further. They discuss TIME, the applications of time-lines, and most importantly the development and expansion of this field. It is a practical book showing how these patterns work and how they can be used for dramatic change in oneself and others. They also enable us to explore new avenues, which is immensely valuable and will lead to even further development and utilization.
