Currently a resident of Charlottesville, Virginia, Church is a life member of the Association for Research and Enlightenment, Inc., founded by Edgar Cayce. His literary career began as an award-winning writer of children's fiction and later as a freelance journalist for various publications, including Tokyo's leading English language newspaper, The Asahi Evening News.
