Irvin N. Gleim is Professor Emeritus of Accounting at the University of Florida and a member of the AAA, ALSB, AICPA, AGA, FICPA, The IIA, and the IMA. He has been active in both pilot and accountant training for over 30 years. His knowledge transfer media make learning and understanding an intuitively appealing process. He has had articles published in the Journal of Accountancy, The Accounting Review, and The American Business Law Journal. When Dr. Gleim and his wife wrote the first Gleim CPA review book in 1974, he revolutionized CPA review and was widely emulated. Gleim re-entered the CPA review market in 1994 with innovative new books, software, and audios. The new Gleim has again revolutionized the way candidates study for and pass the new, nondisclosed exam. Since 1980, Gleim has self-published the most widely used Pilot Training, CIA review, and CMA/CFM review books (now with software and audios) and six accounting student study books. Gleim also provides hundreds of hours of CPE credit for professional accountants. Dr. Gleim's red pilot training products are also the most widely used method to prepare for and pass FAA tests.
