From the Foreword by Kurt A. Adler, PhD, MD: UNDERSTSANDING LIFE-STYLE is a comprehensive study of a technique and method for personality assessment. It is designed to enable clinicians to understand individual uniqueness and to teach and inform them how to convey this to their clients or patients. Following a thorough, in-depth explanation of the theoretical concepts of Alfred Adler's Individual Psychology, the authors apply these concepts to the practice of psychotherapy. Detailed case-histories, enriched by frequent verbatim dialogues, are used to guide the reader through the assessment process. This book is of extreme value.
