About the Author:

Shah Nazar Seyyed Ali Kianfar, Ph.D. is the co-founder and co-director of the International Association of Sufism and the Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Sufism: An Inquiry. Dr. Kianfar has taught Sufism and Islamic Philosophy for over forty years. He holds traditional Sufi gatherings in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. He teaches classes and lectures at conferences and universities locally and internationally. Shah Nazar Seyyed Ali Kianfar is actively involved in the interfaith understanding, helping to raise awareness about the peaceful dimentions of Islam and spirituality, and to open the lines of communication for a better understanding of humanity. He is recognized and respected by spiritual masters from around the globe.
