Travel for that vocation allowed him to gather these memories. Read more about Peebles and Glenavon. Also : CPR freight, The Spanner, Old Betsy, Conductor Sam Jones, PGE, Golden, horse-train, Countess of Dufferin, and Aberdeen Street Medicine Hat. Text assisted by section of b/w photos at center. Cond : Paper wrapper is blue with white (think; newspaper) lettering. Front cover photo shows locomotive 2834 labouring through a prairie winter landscape. Binding sound. Colours bright. Clean.
