Paper. Condition: Good ++. B/W Drawings and Photographs (illustrator). First Thus. The author gets a hand from Ira Van Bibber, Fred Guder and Corporal `Cam' Cameron (RCMP) in compiling this 127 page collection. They talk about mercy flights for mothers of young children, violence related to `gold fever' and travelling vast distances by canoe, dog team and aircraft. The time of the stories range from 1946 to 1965. B/W drawings and photograph help liven the TRUE stories. Cond : Blue paper wrapper which has a wrap-around, colour photo of a stretch of the Yukon River. Lightly chipped at all corners and edges. Spine rubbed but decent, colours mostly bright, binding sound. Minor cover creases, no names, tears nor stains. Light soiling. Spine cock. Minor scribbles on pre-title. VERY GOOD reading copy.
