Born in New Brunswick, Jake Doherty studied at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia before moving west. He worked as a reporter, editor and publisher of the Hamilton Spectator, Owen Sound Sun Times and Kingston Whig Standard before retiring to Owen Sound with his wife Monique. This is his first novel.
