Out of Incest & Abuse, A Book of Hope is a walk through the wilderness of childhood abuse, and the opening of the doors to hope and healing. It is the story of one of seventy million women and forty million men in North America who have lived with labels such as: 'psychotic', 'mentally ill', 'suicial tendencies'. It is the breaking down of walls of silence and exploring the roots of the behaviors that are shared by abuse survivors everywhere.

About the Author
Diane Esther has lived through and conquered the hopelessness that millions of abused children face daily. A frequent guest lecturer in universities, colleges and high schools, she conducts workshops and training sessions for social workers, teachers, psychiatric practitioners, sexual assault centers, therapists and and their clients - those adults whose childhoods were marred by abuse and neglect. She writes an interactive weekly newspaper column entitled "Seaking of Abuse...". Ms. Esther lives on beautiful Vancouver Island with her son Mark, and their sheep, dogs, goats and deer.
