This book puts the reader into position to read and interpret financial reports and to be proactive in linking health care decisions and financial outcomes. Early chapters provide a general review and framework of the accounting world and how it serves the medical community. Middle chapters build the foundation and tool set for evaluating and interpreting financial reports. Later chapters put the accounting tools into action with a case on financial statement analysis and a medical practice valuation. The last chapter clarifies coding issues to help you work smarter and not harder. Upon reading and studying this book, you will walk away with the skills to evaluate and interpret financial reports.
