Christine Mariotti is a widely known artist and teacher in the area of fiber arts and fashion. Her work has been published in several craft books, and she has worked as textile artist designer in the entertainment field and garment industry for 25 years.
Trained in New York State as a professional artist and teacher, Christine was drawn to the areas of surface design and textile sin graduate school. Much of her knowledge came from owning and operating Textile Resources, Ltd., and from being affiliated with Wildfiber--both of which are fiber art studios and stores.
Christine's special interest is teaching the fine art of textile design and illustration, and she has taught accredited classes at many colleges in the southern California area. She also conducts workshops at Widlfiber, located in Santa Monica, California.
