Drawing from a wide variety of sources in both Spanish and English, as well as from his own lengthy personal experience in the country, he provides a tightly argued and carefully documented case for what he terms "An Incomplete Revolution." Furthermore, Benjamin states, he fears the current "political weaknesses" of the Nicaraguan government "are undermining the revolution," as seen in the main by its acceptance of the Arias peace plan for the region.
