About the Author

James Braga was a missionary to China, a pastor, and for twenty-six years professor of homiletics, methods of Bible study, and missions at Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Oregon. Following his retirement in 1975, he continued as the school's chaplain for several more years. His Books How to Prepare Bible Messages and How to Study the Bible have remained in print in multiple languages for more than thirty-five years. In 1994, Braga died at the age of eighty-seven but his dedication to overseas missionaries and teachers left a lasting legacy to the church.
