A failed artist receives a letter. It's a photo of his lost love, brutally murdered. He knows who the killer is-a young Venice mafioso. He does nothing, until the dreams start. Then he plots vengance. He buys a gun in Paris, then sleeps on trains towards death. He slays the mafioso. Yet the killer starts chasing him, through Spain and nightmares. And now the fun begins.

About the Author:
Ron Dakron is the author of five novels--Hello Devilfish!, Mantids, Hammers, Newt and infra. His work runs the gamut from surrealism to sci-fi pastiche. Point No Point tagged his novels as a cross between jive bullshit, hip-hop Henny Youngman, and full-tilt Rimbaudian street-smartass sublimity. Raven Chronicles judged him as sinister as a thirteen-year-old with a lighter and a keg of butane. Publishers Weekly deemed him a writer with a fine ear and plenty of gusto.
Review:
"infra is a wild ride . . . a level of writing that attains a very convincing and enviable poetic reality all its own . . . I loved it. infra will be a hard act to follow." --The Seattle Weekly, November 9, 1988, Matthew Kangas
