Synopsis
Ages 5 and up.Here is a collection of large, reproducible pictures for teaching over 100 essential signs. Each of the signs is presented on an 8.5"x 11" page. Smaller versions of these pictures are included for distribution to individual students and family members.
This book is divided into the following sections:
- Sign Language Picture Boards. Full page illustrations are included in this section that each show a single basic signs. These pages can be placed on the wall in the classroom or reproduced for distribution to students.
- Sign Language Activity Cards. The reproducible pages in this section can be cut into playing cards. Each card has a sign on it.
- Using Signs to Create Sentences. The signs in this section can be combined in various ways to create sentences.
The book also includes the sign language alphabet and sample sentences using the signs. All of the signs may be reproduced.
Speech-language pathologists, classroom teachers, and parents will find this book to be a valuable resource.
