Synopsis

The most important book about salesmanship ever written . . .

Karl Bach was a penniless and uneducated German-Jewish immigrant. He spoke very little English and, to top it off, he had a physical impediment. Not being able to get any other job, he enlisted as a Fuller Brush salesman. Within two months, he became the most productive salesman Fuller had ever had. From a standing start, he had developed irresistible sales techniques. He applied those methods and insights to the life insurance business. Within three years, he became one of the most successful life insurance producers in the US. He founded and became principal owner of the San Francisco Life Insurance Company, which eventually merged with the Philadelphia Life Insurance Company. He became a very, very wealthy man. In this book, Karl reveals his enormously successful salesmanship methods. Here are some of the revealing chapters:

 Ch. I: Selling is Never Work -- It's Fun!

 Ch. III: Selling is Knowing Human Nature

 Ch. VI: Selling While Listening to Your Own Questions

... And there is much, much more!

If you are in any area of selling, you should be able to at least quadruple your performance by reading this groundbreaking book and following its precepts. There is no reason why you shouldn't be as successful as Karl Bach -- you have so much more going for yourself than he did.

If you are in any area of sales and want to multiply your performance and your income, you owe it to yourself to buy this book. You and your family will be glad you did.

About the Author

If there ever was a real rags-to-riches story, it is that of Karl Bach. But it isn't just the "ordinary" Horatio Alger story of "poor boy makes good". Karl Bach's life and his accomplishments are lessons and inspirations to all of us. Here is a man who, from the most humble and most unlikely beginnings, made himself one of the most prominent insurance personalities in the United States. The fact that he has amassed great wealth is somewhat incidental. More important are his contributions to the insurance industry, his role as founder of one of California's most important life insurance companies, the contributions that he has made to the art (or is it a science?) of selling, and his many and mostly unheralded philanthropic contributions.

Much to my sorrow and regret, and that of many others, Karl Bach is no longer with us. He has left a rich legacy. This groundbreaking and insightful book is part of it.
