Many are photographed by Academy Award winning cinematographer Joseph Walker. Her surviving films--all available from the IFC on DVD--are remarkable and are in excellent condition! TSS&MTH was completed shortly before Shipman's death in 1970. The current edition has b&w photos, filmography, maps, endnotes, index and an "Afterword" by the star's son, screenwriter Barry Shipman.
