About the Author
Editor Todd Shallat has blended the work of nine scholars into a book that provides a graphic and informative look at the Snake River Plain in Idaho. Shallat directs the public history program at Boise State University. A Ph.D. in applied history from Carnegie Mellon University, Shallat specializes in the history of science, engineering and the environment.
