Mr. Oakes is currently an Educational Consultant and was formerly Director of Respiratory Care, VA Medical Center, Washington, D.C.; Educational Coordinator/Instructor, Respiratory Care Department, Children s Hospital National Medical Center, Washington, D.C.; and Director of Clinical Education, Respiratory Care Program, Columbia Union College, Takoma Park, MD. Mr. Oakes has been in the Respiratory field for over 30 years and has over 14 years of teaching experience including one-, two-, and four-year advanced Respiratory Care programs.
