A solid copy with firm binding, intact hinges and square spine. Gilt titles and front cover decoration bright. ***Gift inscription on front flyleaf***, but no marks to text. Boards just a shade bowed. Small bump top front corner; slight wear to cloth at corners and spine-ends. Unclipped dustjacket is smudged, with toning especially to the spine; creasing to top front corner; wear at spine (possibly from pest damage) and wear-through at back flap fold ends, but no major chips or tears.
