About the Author
Richard Wallace Carr, a 5th generation Washington real estate developer, can often be found strolling down The Willard's Peacock Alley or in its dining room. His first book The Willard Hotel - An Illustrated History is the definitive historic text of this hotel. Mr. Carr and his wife, Marie have three daughters and live in Washington, D.C.
