About the Author:
Gary Schroeder is the author of three previous collections of poetry: The Slender ame, Mistaken Lights, and Adjacent Solitudes. He is co-editor (with Joseph Hutchison) of the anthology A Song for Occupations: Poems About the American Way of Work. He lives with his family on their ranch in Douglas County, Colorado, and hikes often in nearby Castlewood Canyon State Park, where he serves as a volunteer naturalist.
