John McMullen is an author and illustrator residing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He is the author and illustrator of The Basic Essentials of Snowboarding. He has worked on other Basic Essentials titles as illustrator for The Basic Essentials of Rock Climbing, The Basic Essential of Mountain Biking, the Beyond the Basics title, Climbing Big Walls, and most recently Mountain Biking For Mere Mortals.
