A step-by-step system to help anyone organize and manage any cooking function of any size or complexity. Cooks of any skill level shouldn't even think about preparing hors d'oeuvres, salads, soups, meats, sandwiches, snacks, drinks, or desserts on a stove, in an oven, with a microwave, or on the barbecue without The Essential Cooking Planning Kit to account for every activity, visualize every moment, and plan for every detail so that a single dish or an entire meal is finished on time, without stress, and within budget. Part of a series of color planning books for individuals based on a similar philosophy and model that believes that preparations for parties, meetings, and gatherings of organizations and clubs are best built slowly over time and on the basis of notes recorded in an orderly fashion. The series currently encompasses such topics as dieting, gift giving, events, moving, projects, travel, and weddings.
