Herbert and Jill Meyer are acknowledged authorities on the process and techniques of writing. Jill Meyer has taught English, English as a Second Language, and writing on various levels throughout Canada and the US. Herbert Meyer has been a journalist, an author, a business executive and a US Government official. He has reported for The Wall Street Journal and been an Associate Editor of FORTUNE magazine. He is author of three books: The War Against Progress, Real-World Intelligence, and Hard Thinking. The Meyers live with their two children on San Juan Island in Washington State's Puget Sound.
