Introduction excerpt:
"The idea for an international cookbook occurred to me at one of our adoptive parent support group picnics. The table, laden with exotic dishes presented with American fare, was a mouth-watering sight. I had the urge to label each dish with its name, place of origin, recipe and of course, the name of the cook.
Los Ninos International families are multicultural, thus our interest in a wide variety of ethnic dishes. When I requested recipes from Los Nios News readers, I discovered a lot of talent; some of our adoptive parents and children have won contests, others are famous for certain dishes. Families sent us inventive presentations from many cultures and geographic locations. Most of the recipes have been taste tested by my family and rated good to great."
