About the Author:
Sergio Galindo was a Mexican novelist and short-story writer. He founded the University of Veracruz Press. Carolyn Brushwood is the cotranslator with John Brushwood of Spanish-language novels that include Don Goyo, Lost in the City, and Sergio Galindo's Otilia's Body and The Precipice. John Brushwood was the Roy A. Roberts Professor of Latin American Literature at the University of Kansas and the author of Mexico in Its Novel and The Spanish American Novel.
