In easy, conversational style, he discusses fundamentals of the game, drills, on-court strategy and conditioning and, throughout, emphasizes the importance of dedication and development of a "good" attitude. He also includes unusual and creative tips, such as his recommendation that, while watching basketball games on TV, viewers narrate aloud, as though they were announcers, because "you'll find yourself noticing finer and finer qualities in what you observe."
