Preface:
Geometric transformations are usually studied with powerful tools of mathematics such as: analytic techniques, complex variables, vectors, etc. This book tends to study these transformations through the simple language of Euclidean geometry. We study a set of transformations on the plane onto the plane considering the domain as the sed of all points of the plane and the range as the set of all straight lines of the plane. These transformations are applied to many problems of geometry. In particular, we study certain properties of conic sections using geometric transformations.
In order to preserve simplicity and avoid lengthly discussions, in many cases we do no fuss over details of proofs. This way one gets the feeling of the subject, and later, when other techniques are used, one understands these techniques thoroughly.
One may enjoy generalizations of these ideas to the Euclidean spaces.
