Gr 2-5-Similar in format to Joyce's Alphabet Riddles (1998) and ABC Animal Riddles (1999, both Peel), this fun collection includes rhyming riddles, one per letter, written by students. The queries range from easy to more challenging with the answers listed on a back page. Colorful, bright illustrations extend the fun by providing clues to the answers. The book concludes with suggestions for parents and teachers and photographs of the children who created the riddles. Ideal for playful learning in the classroom or at home.-Pamela K.
