About the Author
Baxter has spent a good part of his life entertaining some of the most independent, skeptical, hard-headed and gullible two leg-ged characters God put on Earth . . . cowboys, farmers, ranch wives, sheep herders, wheat growers, large animal vets, barrel racers, horse traders and poets.
They are a colorful lot, usually have a lot to say, and have the tendency to step off into a wreck on a fairly regular basis. Baxter paints their lives in words on a canvas that never seems to end. Sometimes he gets splattered on his own self. Some thinks it gives him character.
