"As the size and type of cameras changed over his eight decades of experience, Stanley Rosenfeld became interested in exploring how the equipment he used influenced the resulting photographs. He also became a master at gleaning from photographic images a wealth of information about water, waves, wind, and their effects on every sort of vessel afloat. In A Point of View, his final book on the subject of marine photography, Stanley Rosenfeld has left a treasure trove of information and dramatic color images of competitive sailing for lovers of that art."
