Paperback cover has no reading creases but does have a handling crease in front cover. The confluence of the South Platte River with Cherry Creek (a tributary) once defined the prairie meeting place which became Denver Colorado. Through the late 1970s into the 1980s, Denver and the neighboring suburbs developed stricter clean use regulations, biking trails, parks and commercial developments so that the population might better enjoy the river. This book gives a "then & now" view of the area and documents the Greenway project through the metro area as of 1983. Points of historic interest located and described.
